Hello Manchester Families and Staff!
Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! I am grateful to be serving such an amazing community and honored that you have chosen to share your children with us at Manchester Elementary. Thank you for that special gift.
We spent our last few days before break flying kites in the afternoon. At one point, the students were able to get 21 kites up in the air! In some cultures, flying a kite is an act of gratefulness. The students also baked pumpkin pies on Wednesday during culinary class. We hope you had the chance to taste the work of your amazing little bakers!
Just a reminder that there will not be school from November 20th to November 24th for the Thanksgiving Break. School will resume on Monday, November 27th and transportation will be provided following after-school programming at 4:30 p.m. daily. We will also be providing a route in the morning to pick up in Point Arena. If you have any questions about your transportation pick-up/drop-off time or location, please reach out to the school.

¡Les deseo unas maravillosas vacaciones de Acción de Gracias! Estoy agradecida de servir a una comunidad tan increíble y es un honor que hayan elegido compartir a sus hijos con nosotros en Manchester Elementary. Gracias por ese regalo tan especial.
Pasamos nuestros últimos días antes del descanso volando cometas por la tarde. ¡En un momento, los estudiantes pudieron hacer volar 21 cometas! En algunas culturas, volar una cometa es un acto de agradecimiento. Los estudiantes también hornearon pasteles de calabaza el miércoles durante la clase de cocina. ¡Esperamos que hayas tenido la oportunidad de probar el trabajo de tus increíbles pequeños panaderos!
Sólo un recordatorio de que no habrá clases del 20 al 24 de noviembre durante las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias. La escuela se reanudará el lunes 27 de noviembre y se proporcionará transporte después de la programación extraescolar a las 4:30 p.m. a diario. También proporcionaremos una ruta por la mañana para recogerlo en Point Arena. Si tiene alguna pregunta sobre la hora o el lugar de recogida/devolución del transporte, comuníquese con la escuela.
